About Me

Supporting you to move forward with clarity, confidence and balance
I’m Suzanne McNee, a qualified life coach based in West Kirby on the Wirral, offering 1‑to‑1 life coaching locally and online throughout the UK and beyond.
I work with people who are ready to take meaningful steps forward — especially those feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure of their next move. These feelings can make it harder to communicate clearly, maintain balance, or feel confident in decisions. My hope is that coaching gives you a calm, supportive space to explore what’s happening for you and begin moving forward in a way that feels right.
My personal journey
Like many of my clients, I’ve navigated times when life felt out of balance. As a mum of two grown children and now a grandmother, I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges of juggling a busy career with family life while nurturing my own wellbeing and sense of balance. My daily life still includes finding time for being outdoors and exercising — whether that’s yoga, Nordic walking, paddle boarding, or a quiet walk along the beach.
Over the years, I’ve faced life’s ups and downs — bereavements, ill health in my family, and the everyday demands of career and family life. It was through working with a life coach myself that I discovered tools to regain my footing and maintain wellbeing through life’s challenges.
Those personal and professional experiences fuel my passion for supporting others who are seeking clarity, confidence, and balance.
Professional experience
My career has always been grounded in helping others. I started in the NHS in Human Resources and later worked as a wellbeing coach on a government initiative focused on reducing heart attacks through nutrition, exercise, and relaxation.
For over 20 years, I’ve also enjoyed teaching and training people of all ages, including roles as a teacher, SENDCo, and wellbeing lead in a primary school on the Wirral — supporting staff, parents, and children.
Having qualified as a wellbeing life coach, I’ve been working in coaching and training ever since, using approaches such as mindfulness and Solution Focused techniques to help clients make positive, sustainable changes. More recently, I’ve completed additional training, including Mindfulness facilitation, a Foundation Course with the British Wheel of Yoga, and certification as both a Mental Health First Aider and Suicide First Aider — all of which enrich the support I offer.
Who I've worked with
Over the years, I’ve worked with people from many different backgrounds and stages of life. I’ve supported individuals navigating significant life changes, including health challenges, endings and beginnings, and adjusting to a new pace or structure in life.
While their circumstances differ, they often share a sense of overwhelm and a desire to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and balance.
My approach to coaching
I believe coaching works best when it is:
-
Supportive: a safe, non‑judgemental space to explore what matters most
-
Collaborative: we work together at your pace
-
Forward-focused: we look at where you are now and the possibilities ahead
-
Practical: we focus on real-life insights and meaningful, achievable steps
Coaching isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong.” It’s about helping you come back to yourself — reconnecting with your values, understanding what’s holding you back, and discovering practical ways to take confident steps forward.
Outside of coaching
I love spending time with family and friends, enjoying trips to the theatre or live music, and being outdoors in nature or doing yoga. These grounding parts of my life help me stay present and balanced — and they inform the way I coach and support others.
If you’re wondering whether coaching is right for you…
I offer a free discovery call, which gives us a chance to talk about what’s going on for you and what kind of support you’re looking for — with no pressure or obligation.
Whether we choose to work together or not, I’m happy for you to leave the conversation with clarity about your next steps.
